Default problem with radio

I recently installed an antenna for am/fm radio use. I have had the head unit for several months and always used Bluetooth from my phone to listen to music. Listening to the radio works perfect until I hit the gas and then it turns to static and gets low, listening via USB or Bluetooth its fine and always has been. I have tired on a full charge and after some cart usage..same results. I do have a 12 reducer installed, fuse panel and bus bar. I directly hooked up the radio between two batteries bypassing the reducer..and still the same results. Short of it being an issue with the head unit I am at a loss.

Determine if you can pick up the same noise interference on a portable AM-FM radio near the cart. Golf cart controllers radiate signals that can be picked up on radios near the cart.

Where did you install the antenna? My antenna is horrible and I have it mounted on the body just behind the front seat. Brother-in-law's antenna is pretty good and he mounted his horizontally tucked into the lip on his roof.

You may need to reposition the antenna and/or antenna cable to avoid the electrical interference.

My Antenna is on the front roof support, I get a little interference in this location.

Not having any interference next to the cart with a handheld radio.
