EZ Go lift
This is my 1st post and 1st golf cart. I am trying to get a little info. I bought a 98 Ez go electric and it has been lifted and I am trying to find out what the lift is. It is all tubular and looks very nice. I have not seen one like it. The cart sits up quite a bit and runs around 18mph. Are there round tubular lifts on the market? Thanks

Any way you could post some more pictures of the lift? It sounds like it is a Long travel lift kit. Jakes makes one and All sports makes one. These are the links to those: http://www.jakesliftkits.com/liftkit...45-20015)/6210 https://www.allsportsliftkits.com/pr...-8-long-travel |

Re: EZ Go lift
Thanks. I will try to get some better pictures and post them. All the long travel lifts I have seen are independent suspension. This one is not.

Re: EZ Go lift
Judging from the pic you posted, it looks like you have a spindle lift. The spindle lift's raise the front up, but don't change the short 3" (more or less) of factory travel that is on a cart.
The "long travel" kits such as Jakes, give you about 6" of travel. And that is nice when your driving across bumpy stuff. |

Re: EZ Go lift
It's not a spindle lift. It is a tubular drop axle. I will have to get a better picture posted

Re: EZ Go lift
Not sure who made it. Its a drop axle lift but it uses tubular steel instead of the common axle. Should be heavy duty for sure.

Re: EZ Go lift
Interesting. That looks to be a "self made" lift. Even the tie rods are made from the same tubular material that the lift is made from.
