Default ezgo 36 v series whats wrong with th pic

i just bought a 36 v ezgo. advertised as new batteries bad motor.
he explained it stopped working so he bought new batterys and that did not fix it.his golf cart guy came out and pulled the motor and there was black dust all over it and that proved the motor was bad.
As we pushed it on the trailer i noticed there was one side that was locked up, so i when i got it home i pulled the brake drum, chiseled out a bunch of mud & gunk(the whole time hooked to charger)
once the frozen hub was released from the cart i hit the peddle and it spun the wheels in forward and reverse.
i continued to charge and now it does nothing when i push the throttle

notes; when i turn the key on the solonoid clicks(turns off when i hit N then clicks back on.i hear no sound when i hit the peddle??
Thanks

Let it charge until the charger shuts off. Monitor it (since you just got it and don't know if it's gonna burn down your garage, don't let this unknown thing charge unattended overnight). After that, see what happens..

This may be a silly question: You DID unplug the charger when you tried to run it again, right? The reed switch in the charger socket will prevent it from running if the charger plug is still in the socket on the cart.
