EZGO Titan Body Rear Seat Install
Anyone have a Titan body where they installed a rear seat? I'm installing a Madjax rear seat and the frame bracket that bolts in the rear bag well to the frame doesn't sit flush because the body itself is rounded in those corners.
Was thinking I could cut a slit into the plastic and slide the brackets underneath and bolt up or round out the brackets themselves, although I don't think there would be enough steel left. Thoughts? |

Re: EZGO Titan Body Rear Seat Install
I'm installing the L shaped support bracket as shown in tha Madjax video for the TXT. The L part of the bracket goes towards the rear of the cart, which is where it doesn't fit flush.

The Madjax video says to install it the opposite way. I suppose it doesn't matter if yours is good to go. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Re: EZGO Titan Body Rear Seat Install
I set them on my old TXT body, and it had plenty of room to install the way the video was showing. I'll give it a try like you suggested and let you know. Hopefully I don't have to cut anything.

Re: EZGO Titan Body Rear Seat Install
Yeah, not sure what the deal is with mine. Our Titan bodies must line up differently. My holes line up with the bracket like its the corner of a bathtub or something. See pic. I could drill another hole a little further up, as it seems like there is a little room to move with the step, but maybe better to cut the plastic and slide the bracket up underneath where it is flush. I wouldn't want water to get it there if possible.

cv2065, do you have a photo that shows more of the rear of your cart?

Re: EZGO Titan Body Rear Seat Install
Sure. Here you go. The shows the cart from the rear. You can see the two holes that I've drilled to the far left and far right, which lines up with the holes in the frame. That's where it becomes 'bath tub' like in the corner.
