Cool RXV short run then stops

I recently bought a early 2012 48V RXV from a friend. the cart was running fine for 3 days then the battle started. The cart all of a sudden would stop and start shuttering while the throttle was pressed. My local EZGO dealer said it sounded like an encoder bearing was bad. Replaced encoder and problem still persisted. Then, I had someone come by and use their diagnostic tool and the cart said "MOTOR Brake Failure". I replaced the motor brake and the cart will run for a minute or two and then stop. if I turn the key off for a bit then switch it back on the cart will do the same running and stopping. Since the batteries were original I figured they may need to be changed. The cart will run a bit longer, but again will stop after a short running period.

RECAP:
New Encoder Bearing
New Motor Brake
New Batteries

Symptoms: Runs for a 1-2mins then stops suddenly. After a charge or short break the cart will run then stop again.

Anything I can test?

You need a digital volt meter to check your pack voltage. Do you know what it is?

Pack Voltage?? I have a Fuke 87 and can test. are you speaking of the Voltage potential from the + of the first battery in series and - post of the last? if not can you explain "pack Voltage"

This is my first electric cart so the "Cart Jargon" may be a little confusing to me, pardon my ingorance

Battery Source
Golf Pro Deep Cycle

Brand new, installed yesterday.
The ones I removed were Trojan T1275 and they load tested fine, but replaced because of age.

Your batteries are only at 80% charged. You need to charge them until the charger kicks off. Pack voltage should be 50.9v 12 hours after your charger shuts off.

Are you saying that with these new batteries you still have the same problem?

Yes with the new batteries it is doing the same thing!

Ok, that will bring me to my next question.

My EZGO Powerwise QE Charger cycles red green LEDs when plugged in, then goes into the normal flashing green charging indication.

The flashing red/green raised my concern to the charger, but I'm unfamiliar with them, the fault codes say nothing about an alternating red/green in the manuals.

Battery charger should charge batteries up to 60v - 66v then shut off. I don't know that code myself off hand. QE chargers are considered junk they just don't hold up. Do not get it repaired just a waste of your money. Get a DPI charger.

Plug charger in and with your dvm check voltage very half hour or so and see if the voltage is going up.
