Default EZGO rxv freedom programer

Where can you rent these to set the speed to LSV mode?

What you need first is a Passkey. The passkey unlocks the Freedom mode. The freedom mode gets you 17.5 mph. The programmer is used after the passkey it will get you 19.5 mph. It also lets you increase your acceleration to have faster take offs.

Thank you. I already get 19.5 so freedom mode is unlocked. Will the programmer give me the lsv speed of 25mph? I have 14" tires on and get 23mph on a flat road. With lsv speed I could get about 28 or 29 which is what I would like. Any ideas?

Programmer with freedom mode will get it to 19.5 with 18" tires. With 23s you should be mid twenties.

There is no "LSV mode" unlock key, and no legitimate way of changing from a golf cart software to LSV software, without actually getting the software downloaded from a LSV, and dumping it on a Golf cart controller. (Which is likely to cause problems of it's own, 2Five lsv software is setup for a vehicle with 4 wheel disc brakes, not a vehicle with zero wheel brakes). Just dumping LSV software on a golf controller would actually slow you down anyway, 2Five uses different gear ratio.

Ok thank you. I see that won't work. I will just be happy with what I have for now. I understand from reading that going to 350amp controller won't give you anymore speed.

There is also a slight hardware change on the logic board in the LSV control over the RXV, that would likely need to be changed as well.

The RXV controller can be remapped as a 2Five controller, but you have to change out the OS and the VCL. The wiring and software are a bit different as well. I had the opportunity to compare them side by side when I had bought that 2015 2Five to repair. I sold it back to the dealer at my purchase price plus my cost to repair. It was the only legal way to do the repair at the time because of my contract with Curtis.

The 350 Amp upgrade controller can be set to give you more power. It comes set to the exact same performance specs as the stock controller, but will deliver more current for hill climbs. You would have to upgrade the battery and controller wires on the high current side to get more performance. By upgrading the wires and applying performance upgrades to high level settings, you can get pretty much the same performance with the stock Curtis 235 Amp controller as the 350 Amp Curtis upgrade controller can do.

Remember this... It is the motors capacity to dissipate heat that becomes your limiting factor. E-Z-GO reduces high level performance settings to limit heat buildup in your motor. So, if you increase performance and speed to LSV levels, you must keep your motor temperature in mind. I would recommend installing a motor temperature guage. There is a motor temperature monitor mode in the 1313 handset. I pass through the Ocala area on my way into central FL from time to time, if you want to try tweaking some of those high level parameters.

Will tweaking the high end items cause more heat for the motor? Cables all changed out so that should help.
