Default 03 Electric Motor Whine

Cart stopped moving. Replaced input shaft and hub, fixed the problem. Put everything back together and now the motor makes the "Jetson's" sound. Took the motor off the shaft and ran it, sounds like something is rubbing. It did sit in the gargage for a few weeks. Also, when I took it off initially, lots of plastic bits came out.

Maybe the plastic bits were the remains of the bushing/snubber I have heard about.

Be patient, Sorry I'm no sparky guy but stopped in for moral support even if I don't have any morals.

Have you tried a search for motor bushing or sleave?

The cart belongs to the youth football league and I am trying to help them out. It sounds like the motor but I want to make sure before they spend the money for a new one.
