Re: RXV no torque, solved??
Thanks Bob, so is it even worth it to build a rxv hunting cart? I like the look and also the performance of AC. Your thoughts?

Re: RXV no torque, solved??
I have a 2010 RXV. I pop curbs, go over logs, go up hills, go through mud, drive through heavy brush almost daily.
that being said, I've been in discussion with a distributor in Austin about these controllers. When i talked to him about 2 weeks ago, he was the first guinea pig on the old controller and so far it wasn't working, but he was confident to get it working while working with the manufacturer. |

Re: RXV no torque, solved??
Absolutely. I've used my 2008 RXV (with stock Curtis controller and tires/wheels) to tow large vehicles, drag logs, go offroading where there are no trails or roads, driving over small trees, ect. It has not let me down yet. I drive it like I don't care if I break it. LOL

Re: RXV no torque, solved??
Here is the key with a stock rxv... Don't put the tires directly against the obstacle, stop, then try & go.. instead, back up 6 inches, then go, so the motor is not at zero rpm when "popping" over the obstacle. The rxv hates "jumping curbs" with zero motor rpm, give it any rpms at all, and it'll hop right over. Not that the motor can't do it, but the "Nannys" in the controller don't like it.
