Wow sorry to hear that.....you have been keeping them filled properly right?
Also some gases that are produced from charging can catch a spark and ignite but I can’t say that’s what happened.

How old are they and are you sure the rest of them are ok?

Can you post a photo of your damaged batteries? It will be interesting to find out the battery age and operating conditions. Looking back, were there any warning signs that you noticed?

Unfortunately no real warning signs but basically if you take care of the batteries they will be ok....unlike 1 guy I knew that used to smoke while changing batteries out And smoke around charging carts

How do you know what his warning signs were?

If he heard popping or crackling before it happened I don’t know lol but I thought he meant is there any way to tell that your batteries may be near exploding. If he meant that then I would say no there is no real warning sign. Honestly minutes before a battery explodes I’m not even sure you would hear anything

That’s why I’m curious to know if he has been taking care of them

I'm not sure either, I guess that's why he asked the man it happened to.

Thought for a min. you had 2 ID's in here and you couldn't remember who you were at that moment. Lol.
