Default Ahooga horn

I’d like to add an ahooga horn to an Ezgo txt 36v. I ordered a voltage Reducer from Revolution Carts. Now I need the agooga horn. Any recommendations?

Thanks, of course I did. The ones I did find are OOGA horns not ahooga. There’s a difference. You can find old klaxon horns but they are pricey. I was hoping some already went done this road. Not looking for the harbor freight sound.

I think this is what you are looking for.

See post 27-29

These things were great back in the days.
Not sure where you would get the classic one now.

That’s it. Those are from the 30’s I think. 6 volt. A fully restored one can be pricey. I have yet seen a repop with the authentic sound. I may have to settle for an older one. Thanks for sharing that.

It’s the sound. As stated in the post by ray star, the kaxton horn doesn’t have that plastic harbor freight sound. There is a difference between an authentic ahooga horn sound and a modern hooga horn. I have yet to find a new one with that sound. I believe I even mention the harbof freight sound. Call it what you want but it’s diffucult to make a lawn mower sound like a Harley.

then if that's all you will take is you need to state going to car swap meets and find one off of a model A for something like that. an actual Klaxon horn....but there are plenty of NEW ones out there in the $30 to $40 range......the pitch's are different, but they have the classic sound.
