Default Cart jerks on very light acceleration

So, I upgraded my cart thru Scotty B around the middle of Sept this year. Alltrax 48500, solenoid, HD FR switch, 2g cables. I also changed my cart from 36v to 48v. The improvements have been amazing!!!! Until Sunday. It was raining and wet and I had my cart out running around our hunting property when all of a sudden the cart would "jerk" if I tried to take off real slow. And I don't mean just one jerk, it would jerk 2,3,4 times. I have no idea as to what's going on, it has been fine since I put it all together in sept. Any ideas? Thanks.

Experts will chime in soon, I’m sure, but it sounds like water in the throttle box could be a potential cause. Did you get the cart into some water that may have gotten up under the floorboard? You can get to it under the floor at, open it up, dry it out, if needed.

Orangeman is correct. Assuming Ezgo TXT the only thing the ITS throttle cannot cope with is water. You can lift the floor mat, open the box, and remove moisture with a hair dryer. The fix is instant.
Assuming Ezgo Marathon the potentiometer reacts the same way and fix is the same drying out process.

Thanks, I will try that later today. Weird thing is I have had this cart for 3 years, it's been plenty wet before this and I've never had a problem.

Again Assuming TXT because you haven't ID the cart.
While you are in the throttle box inspect the micro switch(ms) operation.... replace the ms if it looks like the trigger is worn sloppy - if there is no water or foreign object in the box or induction tube I suspect trouble in the wire harness plug between the ITS and the controller.

it was right after I replaced the fwd/rev assembly to. I believe it was loose wires or something.

I'm guessing something got water in it because I just took it for a ride and it's fine now. Thanks all
