Greetings all, i have aquired a 11 passenger shuttle and i am in need of alot of help. I have no plate to get the serial number out of so im not sure if its a 88 or 89 if anyone knows any numbers located elsewhere that would be amazingly helpful. Also i am in need of some wiring diagrams. I have put 4 gauge wires on it but im unsure if the way i have hooked it up is correct. The controller is a curtis 1205 400amp controller and i believe someone has changed the dash and i need help with that as well. I have attached a photo of my cart for help in identification. If anyone needs more pictures i will get them for you. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Does anyone know if there might be some numbers stamped on the frame?

Re: Pcx-957
I have one of those (kinda). Pic attached. Yours is a bit longer but, if I am not mistaken, the mechanicals are the same. The brakes may be a bit different. Unfortunately, there is no way to get an exact year. I even emailed EZGo about it. To their credit, they quickly responded back but, unfortunately, informed me that they couldn't supply the year by serial number.
A couple of things to look for to help you out with the years: Those shuttles switched from resistor speed control to solid state speed control mid-cycle. Don't quote me but I am pretty sure it was 1990. If you have the resistor version then you have an '87-'89 shuttle if you have the speed controller set up then you have a '90 or '91. I upgraded mine from 36v to 48v. It's a pricey upgrade but the results were simply incredible. The cart went from 10 - 15 mph has enough torque to pull a train. Don't get caught up with speed on carts this heavy. These things need torque way more than speed. |
