Controller or Motor
Almost ready to sell!. I upgraded cart last year with admiral B2 motor and 500 xct Controller and have had nothing but trouble since 48 volt. Had to send controller back when I first got it and they told me nothing was wrong with it. Solenoid stayed hot to the touch since install . Last week the cart slowed down to almost factory speed around 12 miles an hour. So replaced solenoid and throttle micro switch and now that part is fine. It is not the batteries are loose connection I have checked that several times. 8.3 volts on each and pack voltage is 50.3 . I found out this morning if I reset the controller it starts out like really fast and plenty of speed and torque for about 200 yards and then back to slow and no torque 12 miles an hour. As long as I stop and reset controller it does fine again. No error code on controller but I swear the controller has got to be bad. motor and controller are only a year old.
Help please im about to sell everthing ! |

Re: Controller or Motor
Go into the toolkit program and un-check monitor RPMs. You may have a bad speed sensor or sensor wire connection

Re: Controller or Motor
No - that would have been some good info to have in the first post.
with the key on - cart in neutral - depress the go pedal while watching the controller LED status light. The light should turn amber when the pedal reaches the floor. Test this several times to see if the result is consistent. |

Re: Controller or Motor
Hmm. Put the cart on jacks and give the throttle a full pedal quick blip to the floor.
WARNING = Do not let the motor reach full rpm with no load. |
