Swap the controllerif it has one. I have a series cart TXT '97.

Replace the controller with an aftermarket unit and upgrade to 48 volts.

There is nothing you can do to the motor you have unless you send it off to someone to modify it. 4 guage cables will help "a little".

what size controler does stock have in it ??
and is it located under the black box with the tow run switch??

I believe it is 275 amp controller. Yes it is under the black box.
