Default 48 volt Battery setup.

Got batteries for my Medalist I am converting to 48 volts. How do you set your batteries in cart this is how i think i am gonna do it.

This setup lets me use all the same length wires between batteries. What is your guys opinion??

im not a ezgo guy but I turn 3 of my batteries in my CC around so all my cables run on the outside and not over the caps . I see one that could turn .

There is a picture in this thread of the longer cables on 36v waiting for 48v.

a-mears I have a TXT as well....and converted it to 48v as well. This is my layout which I modeled after the other peoples carts running 48v as well.

Looks like you have all the Negative posts down the middle just like the 6v pack. That works with 5 pieces 16 inch.
TXT48 was another way to do it using 3/16 1/14/ 1/8

I definitely would not want my main negative and positive so close together.

YEP, now yours is set up like mine above in post #4.....and the fact that the first and last battery's posts are on opposite sides and away from each other is a safer set up as its a lot less likely to accidently to touch them together.
