Post 2018 RXV Elite- 90 AMP Lithium system

I recently purchased a 2018 RXV elite cart with a 90 AH et of packs. They come in 60, 90, and 120 AMP packages.

My cart is clocked at 28 MPH. Anyway to increase top end to 35 or so. It has tons of pickup and plenty of torque but I believe the inverter frequency has a maximum setting. Anyone have a manual or tech docs on how to set the max frequency on the inverter? I've been using inverters for centrifuge systems with vendor provided docs and the settings are done thru an Ethernet bus with the appropriate software. Not sure how these carts are bussed (Maybe automotive type CAN bus??).
Thanks very much!

You are already at 9 mph faster than Ezgo sells an Rxv. If you have stock wheels and gears, your motor is already spinning around 9500 rpm, just how fast you wanna spin that baby. I suggest against high speed gears, they make the braking horrible on a Curtis Rxv.

It's an inverted TTL Serial port that the programmer uses. There is a CAN bus, but it is only used for interfacing to a GPS unit on the 2014 and later RXVs.

You may want to read the following thread, all the way to the end...

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ontroller.html

The maximum RPM capability of the RXV motor controller is 12,000 RPM, but the maximum RPM limit set in the VCL (Vehicle Control Language) programmed into the controller is 9500 RPM. There is no hard data that I am aware of that defines what the design RPM limit of the RXV motor is. At what point the motor grenades is an unknown.

In order to increase the RPM limit of the VCL, it would require erasing the OS and VCL, reinstalling the OS, and writing a new VCL for the controller. You would be better off buying a new Curtis 1234/1236/1238 AC controller and writing your own VCL. The Curtis 1206AC-52XX controller made for the E-Z-GO RXV is a rather limited controller, designed for Golf Cart use only. It uses a microcontroller instead of a microprocessor.

Yes.
How did you get it up to 28?
My dealer has them doing 22-23 with 20.5" tires.

27/28 MPH is easy to hit with the stock tires, to go about 5 MPH faster requires 20.5" tires. The Elite is a different RXV, with a different controller. The dealers are very limited in their programming capabilities. Except for cgtech

It sounds like what marks144 is saying is, he has a RXV Elite that does 27/28mph.

I'd like to know what he's running on it.

Why would you assume that? I've programmed RXV Elite carts to run in excess of 30 MPH. I have a couple of the new RXV Elite controllers that I've bought off of eBay, one with OS 5.0 and one with OS 6.0 and they have been out long enough for them to be seen available used already.

Maybe I'm missing something.
It sounds like he has a New Elite doing 28mph off the floor.
