Default 2009 RXV Danaher

I am at a loss,

2009 RXV with Danaher controller. It always had an intermittent problem where it did not want to engage. You would have to turn the key on/off, a few times and finally it would work. Finally it just stopped altogether.

1.) Hooked it to the computer and 5-6 codes popped up from, motor, to controller to brake. (i have them written down somewhere)

2.) replace solenoid, nothing

3.) replaced brake, nothing

4.) replaced controller with the Navitas, still nothing.

I am open to any suggestions at this point. Battery pack is less than 18mths. 4x12v trojans all test out fine.

Thanks for any ideas.

p.s Bob if you read this, i have talked to you on the phone, and I am wiling to pay for you a nice trip to panama city beach if you can swing by and get this thing working.....not joking.

I have very little knowledge on carts, just throwing out something I found on my RXV today.

Do you have a voltage reducer with anything running? I just put lights on my cart today, and found out if the light switch is turned on when I turn the cart on, it won't engage, but if the switch is off everything works fine. I'm guessing it's dealing with a power draw off of the post where the voltage reducer is hooked up.

The problem you are describing sounds like a weak parking brake.

(turn key off and on multiple times)

do you have access to handheald diagnostic computer ????

What is CURRENT FAULT ???

Error Codes:
25107
25108
25105
9024
12833

I was pretty frustrated last night but, it may have been an install error on my part. My RXV has the Resistor control assembly to left of the solenoid that comes off the resistor. The video on the Navitas website does not have that part. I think I may have reversed those.

Enterprise, AL

I have no experience with Navitas controllers but error codes seem to point to parking brake .... other codes are probably old.....

with danaher clear codes and see what is relevant--- what codes come back

I installed a new brake and solenoid. With no change. Which is why I bought a new controller.

I know your issues were last year, but interested in what the resolution was for this Mark. Experiencing similar issues with my 2009 RXV.

I just posted a question regarding this. I am having the exact same problem. If headlights are left on and the key is turned to on, the cart will not move. I am unhooking the voltage reducer ASAP and just buying a spare 12v battery.

Not 100% sure I understand your question, but the RXV controller shuts down after 15 or 20 minutes of no activity and it will do the regardless of the state of the lights. You have to re-cycle the key at that point to get it back on.
