Question 2002 Electric will not climb hills

EZGO electric F402 serial 1498539 will not climb a hill - brand new batteries - still no hill power - screaming fast on flat roads.

I believe it is a 2002 TXT - I do NOT know how to determine PDS or NON- PDS

what adjustment needs to be made or replacement parts installed?

That’s the guide to tell which type of cart you have. It comes from the stickies at the top of the ergo forum. There’s a lot of useful stuff there.

Once you figure out which drive system you have, post that and if the cart is currently stock, including size and type of wheels/tires.

You say the cart is fast on flats, but how fast? There’s plenty of free gps apps for your phone. What type of hills is it struggling on? Multiple passengers?

I know you said that the batteries are new, but it seems like every “go” problem with a cart should start with info on the batteries.
Brand
Age

Attach a dvm to the pack -, + and see what voltage you have 12hrs after a full charge. Individual readings to 6.xx are also important. As is getting all of those readings while the cart is trying to go uphill.

Also, check all cables for tightness and/or corrosion.

Post that info and the guys in the know will be along shortly to help.
