Christmas Lights, Reducer vs. Inverter??
Hello again! I'm making preparations for Christmas, and lights are a must. I'm thinking about options:
1. 36V to 12V reducer, purchase lights that run on 12V (?); 2. 36V to 110V inverter, plugin regular store-bought tree lights. Your experience and advice is appreciated. |

I would go ahead with the 12 v accessory power. even if you are doing it now for lighting, you will find uses for it later. (check with Scottyb, he has some pretty cool ones)
here are the 12v lights we use on the cart, they are available in all colors and "themes"... we have a string for Halloween, 4th of July, etc... https://www.christmaslightsetc.com/p...iABEgKKkPD_BwE |

I use AA battery powered LED Christmas lights. Cheap and easy to install and remove.
You should be able to get them by Dec if you order now😛 |

Re: Christmas Lights, Reducer vs. Inverter??
As others have said, battery powered or reducer powered. The inverter is HORRIBLY inefficient and you will wast a lot of power from your battery pack especially if you go with a lot of lights.
