Default 1998 -99 PC955 Wiring

Have what the tag info says is a 1999 EZGO PC955 Shuttle. Bought it non working, replaced batteries, throttle pot box, F&R switch and solenoid. 36v motor tested good. Have new controller, I'm concerned about proper wiring before I make a mistake and "let the smoke out"

Can anyone help with a correct wiring schematic, or guidance?

Thank you

1. Install an Alltrax SR48500 (or larger), user programmable controller and a 400A continuous/1000A peak solenoid.
2. Upgrade to a 48V battery pack (8 X 6V if long range is needed, or 6 X 8V, which has the same footprint as the 36V battery pack.)
3. Replace the mechanical F/R selector with a reversing contactor. (Save the inherent power losses for several feet of high current cable.)
4. Upgrade all the high current cables to 4Ga or thicker.

Thank you for the info on the upgrade. Very sure I will need to go that way. For this year, I'm looking to get it working.

Was told we could join the A2 (motor) and A2 (controller) together when using the new controller. Attached pics of what i have. I want to apply power to see if it works, but concerned about frying the controller. Do you think this will happen?

I cannot tell for sure from the pictures, but if the old controller had 4 big terminals while the new controller only has 3, connecting the two cable that were attached to the A2 terminal on the old controller together and insulating the connection is the way to do it.

Well, this is what I have installed, cart is still up on stands and not driving around yet.

It works, (wheels turn) but i realized this is for an Inductive Throttle cart. I have a POT throttle. What problems will this cause?

Do I have to replace the throttle now?

Simply change the throttle type in the SR controller to 0-5k for a pot-box throttle. Problem solved.

How to change throttle type is in Toolkit software manual.
