91’ marathon hunting buggy dead in the field
I was cursing the hunting lease and my cart dies in the field. My buddy dropped his water bottle and I stopped and put it in reverse, she moved a couple feet and really sluggish too and stopped, moved to forward and it went a few inches and dead. We went and got it with a trailer and brought it back to camp when we pushed it off the trailer my buddy wanted to try it one more time and he got it to go a few feet in forward? The batteries are good and were recently filled and charged and the headlights burn really bright. Everything on the cart is in good shape, battery pack is around 2 years old and I try to keep them topped off with distilled water. The wires are all upgraded heavy duty and the motor is a 7hp aftermarket high torque. The only thing original is the controller and I’m thinking it could be that but we won’t know until I can get back to camp with a multimeter to be sure. Any thoughts are welcome. We looked at the F/R switch and it didn’t seem burned and still clicks when you move it.
Any thoughts on troubleshooting are welcome. Thanks everyone and have a great day! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
