Default 2013 EZGO RXV Charging Problem

Help!!! I have a 2013 EZGO RXV Freedom that has developed an issue charging. I've read that the Powerwise chargers can be trouble, but that isn't the issue as I've tried known working chargers with the same result.

The cart runs fine, and I'm able to use a regular 12v charger to charge the batteries individually. I've tested each battery and get 12.6ish volts, and 48+ for the circuit.

After testing everything I knew to check and removing the batteries and cleaning all connections with no effect, I ordered and replaced the entire charge port assembly, thinking the problem was the thermistor(?) that comes with it. Still no luck after the install.

I have a youtube link a video of what the charger does when plugged in (but i cant post a link for 7 days). The best I can tell is that it shows 5 red flashes, which, of course, is not a listed fault code in the manual. Anyone have any magic bullets here??

They "think" it's the 6-flash code for a charger fault. I'm not convinced its a charger problem as both my old and new charger give the same result. Possible, but not likely. I did try a friend's charger and it seemed to charge a couple times when I plugged it in, and gave a fault code other times. The times it worked, the light on the charger gave the slow green blink, but the green indicator light on the new charge port did not come on. I didn't want to keep trying for fear of messing up a charger that wasnt mine.

Can someone tell me what the circled wire goes to from the charge port? Does it supply power to the LED indicator light on the port? Could that somehow be related to my problem?

It is the "inhibit" wire. No power to blue wire, controller thinks charger is plugged in and won't drive. Power to blue wire, controller thinks everything is ok to unlock brake and go for a ride. Power goes from port to controller.

Ok. That seems to be functioning properly then. Any ideas on why the indicator light on the new charge port wouldn't come on when the charger is blinking green like it should? Is there a fuse in that connector for the inhibit wire, or could there be a blown fuse somewhere else causing issues?

Found this in another thread:

The 4.7 volts also disables the cart from being operated. The charger itself senses the current draw of the 4.7 volt line and tells the microprocessor to turn on the charger. The added safety feature of the third wire is that the connection is shorter than the plus minus pins. If you pull out the plug this pin breaks first turning off the charger. 48 volts at 13 or so amps can create quite an arc. There is no problem connecting this pin to minus and the charger wouldn’t the difference.
