Default 09rxv 48v no power after riding a min

I ride it maybe 1/4 mile then the needle gage drops to charge and it will go. But really weak and will not climb a little road hill.

Accompanied by a burning smell from the motor brake? Let cart totally cool, charge batteries, then go for the 1/4 Mile drive. Carefully check motor brake for crazy heat, I mean hot. Under normal operation, a 1/4 Mile trip should not be enough time for any notable increase.

I don't smell a burning smell at all.

They are known to fail to the "brakes on" mode, which greatly reduces power, generates tons of heat, and usually smells bad.

Also check batteries. You'll need a digital volt meter. Charge batteries. Let charger shut off automatically. Wait about 10-12 hours. Take battery voltage and post it here. Pack should read 50.9 or there abouts. Refer to the chart.
If this looks ok, next test is load test which can be done with just the cart and the meter.

digital multimeter. needs to have a scale to read at least 100v.

The load test will involve clamping the meter probes to the battery pack main pos and neg and observing the voltage drop while driving the cart. You could also take the cart to a golf cart shop and they can do this with a machine or a hydrometer.

The point is your symptoms point to failing batteries assuming the brake is ok.

I think the break is good to.i just replaced it 4 month's ago. Not saying it can't go bad in that time but yes good brake. I'm thinking it's the battery's going bad. I'll check it.

Thanks for the replies guys keep them coming. When u get home I'll get to business.
