Adding 8th battery. Cable length?
I'm already at 42V and picked up a 48V charger for cheap so I decided to add another 6Vbattery in the bag well area. Not the ideal way to go 48V but I'll reconfigure when my batteries go bad in a few years.
Any idea how long the 2 new cables need to be to reach the 8th battery in the bag well? I'll mount it on the passenger side of the well to offset my fat butt in the drivers seat Thanks |

Probably be your best bet to just measure it. Seems like the closest battery to connect to would be the rear middle or passenger side. You can buy custom lengths off of eBay.

Good idea. I’m in the same situation as you. I’m probably going to end up going with the same setup because the back seat/bed supports won’t allow me to put 2 batteries in the bag well. I can only fit one there. How did you secure the one under the drivers seat? |

Re: Adding 8th battery. Cable length?
I used two 3in wide angle brackets on each end and fabricated a strap over the top. Its real secure and hasn't budged a bit. I dont go off road but I think it would hold if I did.
ScottB said 36in cables so I ordered 2. |
