lift kit questions
Hello everyone.I'm new to golf carting but recently got a 92 ezgo freedom that was cheap and in great condition.I found a lift kit (blocks I believe) for around $100 online.I need advice from you all about what size wheels and tires to buy for it.I will be driving on flat roads with occasional offroad but nothing too drastic.I just want it to look good.I read something about having to get offset wheels, any ideas??

Try some of the site sponsors:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php That style kit should be fine for what you are going to do. Just be sure that the kit is american made like Allsports (Everything Carts sells them) but shop around. |

Re: lift kit questions
After a bit of research it seems that 22x11x10 is a popular tire size.Does anyone know if these will work with a 4" lift on a 92 ezgo? Or better yet,any pics?? Thanks in advance.

Re: lift kit questions
You have to have the offset wheel with a lift. 22X11X10's will be perfect for a 4" block lift.

Re: lift kit questions
Dirtysouth says 22x11x8 and roady says 22x11x10. Does the offset on the 10's make the difference or are the 8's offset too? Forgive my ignorence but I want to make sure I do it once and do it right. Thanks in advance.

Re: lift kit questions
8" wheels are narrower. This makes the tire narrower. You can use 10", but they are more apt to rub and they cost more...

Re: lift kit questions
Thanks Dirtysouth.I'll check out the prices later.I allready have 8" wheels on it so I guess I could just buy the tires and some spacers to make them offset.
