36 Volt EZGO TXT PDS & 500 XCT from Scotty B
I just wanted to give a big shout out to Scotty B and thank him for his help unleashing the beast in my buggy! I purchased the XCT 500 and the 400 super solenoid for my 36 volt PDS. When I purchased the cart last year it already had a FSIP torque motor in it and new Trojans with a stock Curtis controller. It is lifted with 23" tires and as it sat would top out between 22-23 MPH but had very little torque. After having the new controller, solenoid and 2 gauge cables installed this thing will pull out tree stumps! I used my GPS app and it now tops out at 29 MPH! I wanted the XCT 500 knowing that when its time for batteries I will do a 48 volt conversion. But for now I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks Scotty B!

Wow - That's really fast for a torque motor!
I have one of those motors on my test list. Thanks for the info. I can certainly price this motor for anybody that is interested. How's your brother coming along with his build? |

I love it because after my brother bought the controller AND the speed motor he's getting 30.5 MPH....LOL I'm fine with 29 MPH.
