Hot Contacts
I have the Mini T (body) EZ Go frame and electrical running with a lot of help from all you Wild guys , Thanks. Of course there is always one more problem and here it is. The cart has 48 volts just thru resistors and it accellerates well and smooth going up the contacts but if you go to slow at first or when you are coming to a stop the last powered contact fires up hot before the accellerator arm gets off to neutral. If you can tap it hard or just let off at midway it seems to disengage ok. Any ideas will help. Wait a minute, i forgot i told Scotty that i was going to try the grease on the contacts, so look again tomorrow and i will give the results of that experiment. Thanks again, Larry

Re: Hot Contacts
Thanks for lookin in. I got all the contacts cleaned up and replaced the ones that were arcing and it was real smooth but still arced on the last hot one before going to neutral. So i tried your suggestion and greased the last two and tested it on a jack and it looked better, so i gave it a test run today and it didnt act up at all. Of course you cant see if it is arcing a little but before it would sizzle and you could really smell it, so would just turn off the key and jam the accellerator. Today it didnt sizzle or smell. Thanks for the help again and cross your fingers. Larry

Re: Hot Contacts
lTook it to the golf course today, 4mi down and 4mi back up hill and 4+-mi around the golf course. NO PROBLEMS!!!!!! 30.2mph top speed down hill, of course it will do almost that coasting. But the good news is that with the 48 volts and the Plum Quick motor redo(not 2spd) it comes home up a pretty good grade (500 feet in 4 miles) @ 13-14 mph. Good for a old cart with an old fat guy in it Thanks again guys. I am sure i will be back either with new questions or maybe a solution. Larry
