Which one's would you buy???
Going to 48V so I need 6 8V batteries. I can get Trojan batteries for $120 each, or I can get Interstate GC8 for $111 each....what would you get??? Thanks!

I have used Interstates and I still use them sometimes. But if the difference is only $9 I would go with the Trojans.

Yep, you didn't state how the cart will be used, but, in my experience the interstates can't cut it for frequent golf duty around here, and live long life. I never see 5 year old interstates come in that are still kicking azz.

Re: Which one's would you buy???
Forgive me if this is off topic, but:
I just picked up a cart a few weeks ago that had new Interstate batteries put in in 2010 and was used for about 2 years and then sat dead in someone’s garage until last month. I filled up the acid and charged those things up and I can drive two hours and they load test great. That’s 8 year old Interstates! I also hd a set of Trojans from 2011 that were good until last year, when I sold the cart. Luke Club Car DS driver’s club #59 |
