Smile Restoring Western Elegante Lincoln

Recently I’ve purchased a Western Golf & Country Lincoln Elegante for a ridiculously cheap price. I always wanted a cart not only for taking my kids and dogs to the parks but also to take to competitive shooting events. As the bays are far and our gear is heavy it’s nice to have a cart to move you around. I got this cart and nothing worked aside forward and reverse. After disassembling, restoring, and rewiring I have managed to get the ac blower, lights, blinkers, horn, stereo all working again. I am now wondering about what I should be replacing to allow the cart to drive better. My cart hits 16mph but struggles on inclines. I would like to increase speed and torque preferably. I have 7 batteries in the tray which are interstate 6v baterried so I’m guessing I have a 42v system....I have never heard of that.

Anyone have a wiring schematic? Or even know how to identify which EZGO chassis this kit was built on?

That was built on an EZ-GO “Marathon” frame.

Juan, what's a "ridiculously cheap price"? I once got a "free" cart that I think I over paid for by about $3,000.

I paid 650 for this cart, I was told about the electrical issues in advance. The batteries seem to hold a charge well but it needed some cosmetic work as well. I’m pretty sure it’s gonna drain a couple grand to get it where I want it.
