Default 2011 RXV throttle sensor issues

I have a 2011 RXV that will not move. When I turn the key on I get a click from the solenoid then another click from the solenoid like its deactivating. Since I have no scanner to plug in to check for faults I start at the throttle sensor. I have a 5.01v going to the tps. On the output wire I have 3.49v all the time no matter what position I put the throttle in. I replaced the tps thinking that was the problem but still no luck same voltage. Im kinda at a loss as to why im getting a solid 3.49v at the tps at all throttle positions. Anyone have any ideas what to check next???

Thanks, but I already have that repair manual and went threw threw the trouble shooting. Its says it throttle voltage should be betweet .38v and .56v if not verify harness. I have been all threw the harness and it seems fine. Even ran wires directly from the tps to controller and still same thing 3.49v on the output side.

The TPS for throttle and brake are driving a 0-5V ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) inputs on the controller. It is entirely possible that the ADC has gone bad. The best way to check that would be to connect a Danaher version Diagnostic Handset to the Run Plug (remove Run Plug) socket underneath the cupholder assembly. Replacement Danaher Controllers may not be easy to find, but you can convert to a Curtis controller if you need to...

Thanks for the info bob. Yeah I really don’t know what else it could be at this point beside a fault in the controller. I hate to raplace it not being 100% sure but I have no access to a Danaher handset.

Where are you located? Some of us RXV enthusiests have the Danaher diagnostic handset, and some have a spare Danaher controller to test with.

FSIP repairs curtis controllers. Get a handheld on it before throwing money at it.

When you put the cart in neutral can you push it by hand? Wondering if the brake is locked up or not.
