Default Takes off fine within minutes slows down

I have a 04 EZGO 36 volt. It will take off fine then within a minute or so it turns real sluggish with almost a vibration. Meter drops a little but don’t think enough to cause this. Put on jack stands and runs fine the whole time. Pulled motor off and seen splines were wore down pretty good so replaced input shaft and spline coupler. Back together but still having problem. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Start with id’ing the drive type using the link above.

Let these guys know if the cart is stock, including tire/wheel size.

Put a dvm on the pack, along with each battery. Post the voltages to the second decimal. Ie: 6.xx

Attached is a soc chart.

This is a series drive type. The tire size is 22*11-12 and it does have a lift. As far as I know everything else is stock. The overall reading on the battery system is 34.8. Battery one is reading 5.86. Battery two is 5.78. Battery three is 5.76. Battery four is 5.81. Battery five is 5.81. Battery six is 5.83. Not sure by looking at the chart if this means my batteries are bad.

Batteries currently look horrible. Charge and retest. Also check voltages during charge, and post max number observed.

The cart is plugged in to charge. When I plug it in it only clicks but no reading on charger. Tried neighbors and it’s doing the same thing. Figuring batteries are no good if it won’t take a charge???

Your voltage might be to low to charge. If you get a 12 volt charger and charge them in pairs (2-6 volt= 1-12 volt) for 10-20 mins each then try the cart charger no need to remove the cables. This happened to me a few times, after your cart charger shuts off pull the plug out and back in to get it to start a new charge. Then fill with distilled water to 1/4 inch or so over the plates.

Check that your cables and connections are clean, also check the voltages on charge. We could tell some more by knowing how high the voltage goes while on charge. Also check your outlet if you used both chargers on the same outlet.
