If the new controller is an XCT connect the laptop and uncheck the enable speed limit box under misc settings. If the problem goes away then repair or replace the speed sensor or speed sensor wiring.

Unfortunately the 2-3 code is a catch-all code. Do you have a multi - meter and know how to use it?

In post#1, he said he got a 3-2 error code and replaced the solenoid.
Check the voltage on J1 Pins 4 & 5. If either is much less than full battery pack voltage, you'll get the welded solenoid error. |

Re: 2000 Ezgo pds limp mode
I have battery voltage 37.5 at pin 4 and 5. Butwhen testing b-toA1 before solenoide clicks it’s24.4 then when it clicks it’s at 37.7when I put it to the floor it goes to 18.5,,,,what does this mean

Re: 2000 Ezgo pds limp mode
If I push the pedal down til it barely clicks and turn the key of and on a few times the solenoid clicks on and off and put the pedal to the floor it goes to zero and full speed?????

2. That indicates the controller is drawing two or three time the amount of current it normally does before the solenoid contacts close. Normal is about 3V to about 5V less than full battery pack voltage. 3. That is different than what you got on Pins 4 & 5. What is the voltage between the main negative and main Positive at the battery pack. That is the reference voltage or FULL battery pack voltage. 4. Should be zero V or close to it with pedal on floor. If the battery pack voltage is 37.7V, then 18.5V means the output duty cycle is roughly 50% 5. #2 above may indicate a bad controller, for the rest above full voltage isn't getting to Pins 4 & 5, causing the 3-2 error and subsequent reduced cart performance. 6. It works normally some of the time, so you have to troubleshoot when it isn't working normally. First, get FULL - repeat FULL - battery pack voltage on Pins 4 & 5 100% of the time, then continue troubleshooting if needed. |

Re: 2000 Ezgo pds limp mode
What is the voltage between the controller's B- and B+ terminals after the solenoid clicks?
If it isn't 38.?V (same a battery pack), you have a high current cable issue. If it ism the controller is sick. |
