Stock controller won't last a week, if it even lasts one trip.

That cart is screaming for a 48v upgrade!

I'm thinking about upgrading the 300 amp SR in my industrial cart to 400 amp
SR300 has a peak output of 350 amps. It's about 1.5 yrs old.... $300 ?
It will go 36 or 48 volts

Read my medalist journal - link in my signature - go 48 and never look back - it's worth the cost and time 100%

Scotty has it down to a science, buy his package and get to work ;)

I went with a D&D motor and SR4800 controller with scotty's SW's for FNR replacement.

Remember - you're going to need a new charger as well

I did not replace mine but I use my cart mainly for golfing.
Let Scottyb know how and what you will be using your cart for and he will give you recomendation's on what to do.
