Can I rebuild f/r switch easily?

2001 ez-go had heat problem, then no reverse. After working on f/r switch, cart will not go at all. Can I rebuild this f/r switch easily? and how can I jump the switch out to go forward only?

You should be able to put a jumper on between the hot post and the forward post or just take the hot post wire and place it on the forward post. The cart, wired like this will only run forward until the switch gets replaced.
