Ausco noise squeak chirp easy fix, not shims
Easy fix for me anyway. I read the posts about shims to get rid of that annoying chirp, chirp, chirp. Jacked the cart up ready to install some washers and noticed the carter pin or clevis pin what ever you call it on the end of the brake cable, on both sides, was holding the brake pad from floating freely. Just twisted it away from the brake pad, took it out for a test drive and no noise squeak or chirp.
Way easier than shims. Hope it lasts. |
