Solenoid activates on F&R switch

I've just installed an Alltrax xct500 and 400 super solenoid on my 2009 ezgo PDS. I've checked the wiring over and over and still can't get the cart to run normal. First issues is the solenoid clicks when you select fwd or rev on the toggle switch and the wheels start spinning at a crawl. The controller flashes 4 green and then turns solid which should mean all is correct. When the gas is pressed, it stay green for most of the range except for a second in the middle and at fully pressed it flashes green red fast. Almost looks orange. Any ideas on why the solenoid doesn't activate with gas pedal like it should? And why the throttle doesn't respond?

Sounds like you have a pedal switch that isn't working right. (Contacts staying closed when pedal is up)

Fix that problem first. then after the other ones.
