Default What is this

I have led lights and turn signals on 2014 txt. The switch has a position for running lights and high and low beam but as of now the only thing that is hooked up is the turn signals and lights on or off. With led lights can you utilize the running lights and hi low for lights. Also what is this box from the turn signal on the column it has only one plug
Thanks
Adam

I to, have this this turn signal kit and trying to get the other functions working. It was installed when I bought the cart so I don’t have a wiring diagram. I have found out that there are a couple of different models. Some head light kit models specifically state low and high beam lights. I believe mine is just one beam. I was planning on installing another LED light bar to use the fog light option as well as the high beam option.

Also, I noticed that you have the dash I am planning on installing along with speaker pods. The ones I have been looking at, the dash and the pods conflict with each other. Would you mind sending me a few more pics of your dash setup?

I am going to continue research on our lighting situation.

This is best pic I have now. If you would like more or from a different angle let me know I can take them when I get home tonight(it will be pretty late).
Also let me know what you come up with the lights.I am thinking to get low beems we might have to put an inline voltage reducer 12 to 6 or maybe the turn signal has a built in resistors, just not sure if it would hurt the LED I am going to triple check before I do that because I have the S4 body and the LED head lights are very expensive. As far as the running lights not sure yet.
Thanks
Adam

I believe your turn signal kit is made by Pro-fit accessories, and is either part number PF11532 or PF11573 depending on if it is 12v or 12-48v compatible.

Pro-fit also makes some light kits that are hi/low beam, but if you’re like me, mine are one setting only that works the same whether on hi or low. The multi beam are part number PF12197 for my cart, your may vary.

The pro-fit parts catalog has a good reference if you google it. Hopefully that helps.

Ankrom22: Mine too is a Pro-Fit. That's how I determined my model by the information in that catalog you are referring to. Headlight kit is #PF11580 and my turn signal kit is #PF11573. My lights and signals were currently wired straight to 48v. I wanted them to be switched so I wired it to a 12v reducer and they still worked. That told me they were both 12 or 48v.

But, our or at least my issue is that the turn signal still has the functionality for driving lights and high beams. I want to know which wire controls those functions and add driving lights and/or an additional light bar that works when activated. Can not locate a wiring diagram for those yet.

Theflyinglineman: That dash pic will do. I was just looking to see how the radio and key switch were setup. My key switch is on the left and my cubbyhole/fabricated for radio is on the right. When looking for dashes for a 2014, the key is always on the left. The ones with key on the right are 2013 and below. If yours is a 2014, then maybe it was modified to fit a earlier dash cover. I am still learning by the way. Only had a golf cart for 3 weeks.

I requested a couple wiring diagrams from pro-fit today for a related project I'm working on adding a turn signal indicator. I could take a voltmeter to it but I'd rather be certain. They said they had to request it from Engineering but would get back to me. I'll post here if I get a copy.

That's great, Thanks. I apologize if I am high jacking this thread.
I just ordered me 2 indicator lights for my turn signals. Planning on wiring them to the blinker housing feeds and mounting them on the column. Also going to relocate the hazard switch there as well. I have already relocated my F-N-R switch to the column.

I have made lots of progress. I have figured out how to have hi low head lights and running lights in the front. I am still working on the back. The head lights are will be supper easy since my light s support hi low as does my head light switch. The running lights will require a small purchase to make them work as flashers, blinkers and running lights. I have an idea for the back lights but I am not 100% sure it will work

That's pretty awesome Adam. How did you determine your headlights were actually Hi/Lo beam? The only way I can distinguish between to the types is the bulb configuration. My has the 10 LED bulbs for the headlights just like PF11580 picture, which is just the deluxe kit. Does yours have the other bulb configuration as PF12198 picture shows?
