Default 2004 EZGO PDS has me stumped!

I have a 2004 EZGO PDS. It has good batteries. It will run 21 mph in forward, but in reverse the solinoid will not click and the cart won''t move. I have tried 3 controllers and they all do the same thing. I have changed the F1 and f2 wires, changed the f/r switch, switched the wires around on the f/r switch, changed the key switch. In reverse I have no power to the solinoid. If I hadn't tried 3 controllers I would assume that wouldld be the problem. When i switch the wires the motor will spin the tires in reverse. I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a diode blown in the controller. The diode between J1 Pin-2 and J1 Pin-3 in the attached drawing.

I don't know where the diode is physically located inside the controller, but you ought to be able to do a workaround by connecting a diode between the green and orange wires on the F/R rocker switch. The banded end of the diode would attache to the green wire.

Ooops! Didn't notice you said you tried 3 controllers.

What is the voltage on J1 Pins 2 and 3 when cart is in reverse?

--------------
Ohm out the orange wire from F/R to J1 Pin-2 in wiring harness.

J1=- ground
J2= 33 volts
J3= 33 volts

In forward it reverses j1 and j2 polarity. J3 stays the same

J1 is a 10 pin connector
J2 is a 5 pin connector
J3 is a 4 pin connector
Please identify the voltage readings with correct jack and pin numbers, otherwise they are meaningless.

Also, unless otherwise stated, all voltage readings are referenced to the main negative terminal on the battery pack.

Ah ok. Sorry for the previous response. I'll get all the readings tomorrow. I have to parent tonight.
