Wayyyy Faster in Reverse than forward

So i finally got this running after using the third diagram which i attached. When i wired exactly as diagram shows it ran but forward and reverse were switched so i swapped F1 and F2 at the motor and that solved that problem. Cart runs good but in reverse it has ridiculous torque and speed so could i swap F1 and A2 at the direction switch, would be 12 o'clock and 3 oclock positions. Or would i swap 3 oclock and 9 o clock? As i was thinking maybe these are the fowrad/reverse points? Or is that just how it is? Also i noticed pedal getting stuck and just takes off and i have to use my foot to pull it up to stop from running, when cart is not on it seems to glide smooth along the points and doesnt catch, its old and im new to this so just trying to learn this crap right

What speed controller is in the cart?

I attached pics of my setup, still learning this stuff as i just got this cart yesterday as a project and been learning and researching as i go and getting crazy addicred to it, it had no batteries and a few cables when i got it so i wired best i could off of diagrams but still learning what wire does what and what part is what...but at least its running i just want it to be safe and not burn up
