Today I received an email from E-Z-GO about a sale on wheel/tire combos, advertised as up to 35% off. I've been thinking about getting a set of wheels with street tires, so I looked them over. I picked a set of 14" Spartan wheels with 205/40 street tires. The descriptions in the links do not match the wheels/tires they link to, kinda odd.

The Green/Black set was on sale for $481.99, quite a bit less than $608.91 for the identical set in Blue/White.

I used the discount code SUM20W code to get an additional 20% ($96.40) off, and with free shipping. The total was $412.58

They do sales like this every once in a while I think to clear out some inventory. They had limo txt frames for like $350 a year or so ago. Is a good deal on those wheels.

Great find, Bob! I like the 10" Daytona/205/65/10 combo but sadly not in stock at this time. Was hoping the discount code and free shipping would apply.

I'm tempted to take advantage of the sale to buy wheels/tires for the Bandolero project car while I can. Not sure of the offset requirements for that one. I would prefer to have taller/wider street tires for the rear and shorter/narrower street tires for the front. I don't want or need a lift kit, just cut the wheel openings in the fiberglass for clearance. I've already bought a controller from FSIP, it'll be delivered tomorrow. It's set up to work with the 2Five speedometer.

I bought a set of 23X10 on 14" wheels. I'll swap tires to put the first (20.36") set of tires on the blue/black wheels. It'll match the body color of the 2008 RXV.

The 23" tires I'll use 2 on the Bandolero rear, and save the other 2 for spares. Will buy a couple of smaller DOT tires for the front wheels.

Just a side note but I bought my tire & wheel set for my RXV at kjmotorsports.com.

When buying tires & wheels together, they will mount them.
