96 TXT 36 volt solenoid issue
New member here. I’ve been reading posts regarding TXT no-go issues. That’s my issue as well. Batteries all are 6v + individually and the pack voltage is 38. When I press the pedal, the solenoid clicks once but the cart doesn’t move. Each additional press of the pedal only produces a click under the cart on the driver’s side which I assume is the “go pedal” switch clicking. The solenoid is silent with each of these additional presses of the “go pedal.” If I let the cart sit for a few seconds and then press the pedal again, I get one healthy “click” from the solenoid and no more.
I’ve got pack voltage at the solenoid large terminals. If I put the leads from the meter on each of the small terminals, then press the pedal, I get “jumping” results on the meter and am unable to get a reading. It shows “overload” and never settles on a constant voltage. I’m no electronics whiz by any means, but willing to learn. Thanks in advance gents! |
