RXV Speed upgrade
Newbie here and curious about adding some speed to a new rxv. Where do I go to purchase and what do I need. I am not looking to race just a nice upgrade that wont harm stock parts.
Thanks |

Re: RXV Speed upgrade
All speed enhancements have to be done with a programmer. Depending on your location, there are several great folks on here that can do it. CGTech and Bob Boyce are the first that come to mind. If they are out of reach, you local dealer should have the capability. What year is your cart? Do you know which controller do you have?

Thank you. Its a 2018 and I have no idea on the controller. All new to me as it's my first cart.

Should be a Curtis controller. Bob Boyce is your man on these. He has worked wonders. I'm sure he will see this and chime in shortly. If not, drop him a PM.

Re: RXV Speed upgrade
I believe that the new RXV come with Freedom mode already installed. Is your cart going 19-19.5 mph? If so no local dealer will be able to help you only Bob Boyce.

Re: RXV Speed upgrade
If your at ~19 now with standard 18" tall tires, changing to 20" tall tires will make it a 22-23 mph cart. No lift required. There is potential for more.

Re: RXV Speed upgrade
To go faster than 19 MPH, someone who has Level 4 (developer access) would need to help you. There are a few of us working toward developing that capability. Bob’s the only one on the forum who has the capability at present. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
