controller smoke
Hi, I have a 2005 Ezgo TXT PDS 36v golf cart. My controller is smoking and I get 4 green led flashes then 7 red led flashes. It smokes when I barely push on the pedal. The motor has not worked since the smoking started. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Re: controller smoke
You must have an Alltrax controller. Is your solenoid clicking?

Re: controller smoke
I don't think the op understood the date question. Cart is a 2005. LetLuce1 look on the controller itself for some markings. May need to put a mirror under it to read them

Re: controller smoke
Replace the smoked DCX controller with an XCT.
Check the motor first. If it is a stock PDS motor: A1 to A2 ought to be 0.3Ω to 1.0Ω F1 to F2 ought to be 1.0Ω to 2.0Ω A1 to F1 ought to be OPEN A1 or F1 to case ought to be >5MegOhm. When I exploded my stock PDS motor, the magic smoke escaped from the DCX controller also. |
