Default Did I mess up? Wrong controller?

Note: I have a 2005 TXT 36v

Well, I think I may have messed up. Can I make it right?

I picked up an AMD speed motor, 500amp controller, solenoid, reverse contactor, and throttle converter.

The part number on the controller is 51-42L500NN0S. I didn't realize and I think I need the ITS version. This is the 0-5k version.

The throttle converter has a lever on it. My pedal doesn't have a way to control that lever.

Here are some pics. Can I make this work?

What you have there is one of our older conversion kits for Ezgo Marathon. That controller is calibrated for the potentiometer with the lever.
THe 05 TXT has ITS throttle which needs a throttle converter BUT only works with the NVS not the NOS model of the star (GE) controller shown.

You are sorta barking up the wrong tree with this controller. Sell that to somebody with an old resistor coil Marathon and put the money toward a new Alltrax SR controller (even a 350 amp model will do)

Thanks for offering up your advice. I'll order what I need from your site tonight if you can tell me what I need. Here is the solenoid and reverse contactor that I have. I'll probably get the 400 or 500 controller. Am I good on the solenoid and contactor? I think I'll need a bracket for the solenoid. Where do people mount the contactor on the txt. It doesn't look like it will fit being the F&R switch. Thanks again for your help.

**I found your instructions on mouting the contactor**

On another note. Maybe someone can PM me fair prices on what I I should price what I need to sell. Thanks!

On a positive note, the motor is awesome for what I need! I was only getting about 12MPH on the stock controller stock motor 36v. Now I'm getting 22-24 with the AMD motor and stock controller and same 36v. I'm just missing the torque that I'll get with the Alltrax.

Scotty, can you confirm if this is right or not?

I have:

Motor AMD - Speed Motor ES1-4002
Solenoid - MZJ-400D
Reversing Contactor - SW182
2 gauge cables

I need:

Alltrax Controller - 400 or 500 for the AMD motor?
Reversing contactor Mount - Will you sell just the mount?
Throttle Converter ITS - Do I need this?

Use a 500a controller like SR48500 price $509 and a 400amp solenoid which you have. For others see the 500/400 combo for $559.
The SW182 shown is rated for 200 amps. It is not recommended for aftermarket motors. Use SW202 and custom mount bracket this application.
Of course 2g cable set will be needed throughout. Thanks for asking, I hope this helps.
