08 PDS still stops then goes while driving!

A little bit ago I posted how my PDS cart would run and drive, then all the sudden the cart would slow to a stop with the beeper beeping. Once stopped and you press the throttle again it with go like nothing happened.

From another poster they said this was a safety feature that is from the key switch or F/R changing position it shuts it down. Obviously I'm not touching them.

So I replaced the F/R switch and did the relocate that ScottyB sells on cartsunlimited. (Awesome kit by the way Scotty! So much better not having to reach up to the dash.

I also replaced the key switch with a brand new one.

So while out on a test cruise today it did it again! Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? Time to sell and get a gasser?

Forgot to mention that no codes are showing up in diagnostic mode.

Okay never mind about the not throwing codes. I thought when you enter diagnostic it would tell you once you entered. I drove it around and got it to toss a couple codes. It was hard to count as fast as it beeped them out while trying not to lose control. I believe it's something with the ITS. Will drive it some more and get it to toss the codes and record it so I can count it properly.

Only since nobody that actually knows what they’re talking about has responded

, does your cart have the molex connector? If so, that could be a trouble spot. Another wild guess would be moisture in the throttle box. Controller overheating? Not sure about codes with any of those, but maybe some things to consider while you’re waiting for responses.

I was thinking controller overheat as well. What size tires are you trying to turn with that PDS motor?

Cart has the stock 18" tires. Has done it since day one of owning it. Orangeleaf yogurt we all have to start somewhere ��

I have owned the cart for about a month and it has done it since day one. I'll have to look up the molex connector and see if I have it.

Then it's probably not overheat due to motor loading then. orangeman6 had a good suggestion, to check the 4 pin molex that was typically used to connect the throttle box to the rest of the harness. They have been a trouble spot for bad connections. Most people cut and splice the wires, soldering and heatshrinking each wire to seal out the weather

Tomorrow I am going to try to test the solenoid. Then if that fine go to that connector. Hopefully this isn't a huge pain in the butt and expensive to fix.
