2007 Ez-Go charging
2007 Ezgo TXT. First timer with electric cart. Put new batteries in, added a digital voltage meter. Unsure if charger works properly or will shut off properly. Charged up to 39.6 volts (on digital gauge) but charger was still showing orange light(charging). Any opinions on if batteries can take more charge, why charger didn’t shut off? Worried about over charging if I just leave plugged in? Thanks, 007

Re: 2007 Ez-Go charging
The On-Charge voltage of a 36V battery pack typically climbs to a minimum of 44V to 46V and some chargers go higher.
What Make/Model charger do you have? The At-Rest voltage of a 36V battery pack (after sitting 12 hours without being charged or discharged, varies bay battery manufacturer, but the lowest is about 38.2V for 100% SoC (State of Charge) |
