Default I want to go fast well faster

Hello I'm new to the forum. I have a 89 ezgo marathon 36v. I just put new batteries in it last weekend. It has a 4" lift and 20" tires. What can I do to gain a little more speed on the low end? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a good day.

Shameless plug, but I just posted multiple Marathon items in the for sale section. Mainly the controller, throttle potentiometer, and bracket it goes on.

Will that gain more power or speed? Will it work on a 36v?

More horsepower. I think speed is mostly or solely based on volts. It can be used on both 36 and 48 volts in case you upgrade later.

Actually, doesn't look like you accept PMs. I will throw in the shipping to Indiana.

Here is the link to the items. It's a direct fit. I even have the 2 gauge cables that I can throw in for an extra $20 (Mostly since they are heavy so to help with shipping).

I haven't posted it yet, but I'm also going to have a SW182 Reversing Contactor. I just haven't thought of a fair price yet.

What Stingray is selling plus 48v will give you a nice speed and torque upgrade. Make sure you upgrade all your cables to 2 or 4 awg.
