Default Lester Summit II 650 Watt Battery Profiles

OK could not find a Topic Heading for charger questions.

Anyway I have a Lester Summit II On Board 650 watt charger, and not finding the Battery Profile that fits. Example say a profile for a FLA (wet) Trojan or US Battery. Bulk/Absorb = 2.47, Float = 2.25, EQ = 2.7

Nothing close in the Battery Profile. Where can a person download the correct profile or make their own? I cannot find anything in the manuals or on-line on how to do this.

THX

Go to Lester's site and go to the contact us. Email their Tech Support, they will get back to you right away and tell you which profile to use. In your email give them all your battery details, model number etc. The closest profiles show up as AGM profiles.
Model 30600: 22259
Model 27900: 22209

Good luck.

Thanks, I did send them an email last night and they did answer. Basically they said use profile 22252 which I had already programmed in. However it is not correct.

What I did find is there are some Profiles not listed like 22253 which is very close. Bulk/Absorb = 2.45 vpc, Finish = 5 amps Di/Dt with EQ function. No Float, but at least the voltage and Finish is correct.

Try 22258 it's the same as 22253 but with float. After looking I switched mine to 22257 it's got a 4a finish. 22258 I believe matches ur every need if you are wanting the 5a finish

How is the Lester 650 doing for your carts? I have an RXV that i just converted to a 6x8v configuration and was considering the Lester Summit II 650w - but was not sure if it was enough charger to properly maintain this pack. Was wondering if I needed the 1050w model.

What batteries do you have? Mine all 120ah @ 75 so they are doing great with this charger! Very impressed with it TBH

I ended up with 6x T-875 Trojans. They are rated at 170ah.

with my 6x8volt T875 batteries in my RXV i am trying to figure out which battery/charger profile to use on the Lester Summit II 650w. I want to ensure it has the float option.

I tried to email their support but the profile provided back didnt have the float option and if i tried to select it, i got an error stating that the model wasnt compatible with that profile

Any suggestions on the best profile(s) to select?

Do you have the auto scaling set for the profile? I believe that has to be set to be able to use multiple profiles

The Summit charger profiles do not support "Floating" for Flooded Lead Acid Batteries.
