Default The crappiest 2010 rxv here

Well it looks ok from initial photos but she’s a dirty rust beast. Starting a destruction an build post.

More tear down. Marine rv batteries new thinking of riding them as long as I can. Thoughts?

Danaher controller. Took photos to document where wires go.

That steering box is on there... also a couple rear bushings to get out then off to the sandblasted.

Those batteries are a joke for a Rxv. Rxv is most picky about batteries of any model I know of. Keep your volt meter ready for individual battery readings when problems start. And when problems start, suspect those batteries first. Keep forcing it to run after problems start, and you get to destroy a motor brake too. Rxv works best with best batteries you can fit in there (6x T-875 conversion). Also, please reroute the cables so you can at least be diligent with your fluid level checking. Cables oriented in a way that prevents cap removal guarantees fluid will never be checked.

Yeh the batteries were on the cart when I got it as new. Don’t know if I should just try to sell them on Craigslist and get new Trojans.

Don't sell them, unless you can make up for lack of cores. Consider buying 8 volt batteries instead of 12 volt. You may have to modify the battery tray.
