Default 2011 EZGO Charging

Have a 48 volt EZGO that is a 2011. Just bought it and when I changed batteries, the lug on a gray rectangle thing that connects to the battery pack positive had corroded and broke. Cart runs fine and charges fine. Is this something i need to replace and if so, whats it called to look for it?

It is a temp sensor for the charger. If it is charging & driving, you are ok for now. If it gets too messed up by corrosion, it will make the charger not charge until it gets repaired or bypassed (10k resistor in place of black box).

Hopefully locally, as you'll pay more for shipping than the part.

Fry's, DelCity, Mouser, Digi-Key, Ack, Jameco...

Minimum order size? Was shipping more than the components?

Radio Shack used to sell this type of component. Last time I went there, decades ago, they no longer stock this slow moving merchandise.
